I acknowledge that pickleball involves inherent risks of injury and illness — including but not limited to falls, collisions, contact with the ball or paddle, muscle strains, environmental conditions, and exposure to communicable diseases. These risks include the potential for serious, permanent injury. I knowingly and freely assume all such risks, both known and unknown, even if arising from the negligence of the released parties, and accept full responsibility for my participation.
I affirm that I am physically fit and capable of participating and have not been advised against it by a qualified healthcare provider. I agree to carry my own health insurance and will be financially responsible for any medical treatment I receive as a result of participation.
I, for myself and on behalf of my heirs, assigns, and personal representatives, hereby release and hold harmless The Dink Society, its organizers, officers, sponsors, facility hosts, volunteers, and representatives ("Released Parties") from any and all claims, damages, losses, or injuries — including death — whether arising from negligence of the Released Parties or otherwise, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
The Dink Society is built on mutual respect. Participants agree to abide by all league rules and USA Pickleball Official Rulebook standards, call lines honestly, keep disputes civil, and represent the league with courtesy both on and off the court.
League organizers reserve the right to eject any participant without refund for unsportsmanlike behavior, including but not limited to: aggressiveness (slamming paddles, hostile confrontations), excessive profanity, verbal abuse or belittling of any participant, physical altercations, or intentional disruption of play. Organizers may also ask participants to change inappropriate attire at their discretion.
I grant The Dink Society and its authorized representatives the right to photograph, video record, and audio record me during league activities. I grant The Dink Society the unrestricted right to use, reproduce, display, and distribute such materials in any media — including print, digital, social media, and promotional materials — for any lawful purpose without compensation. Opting out of being recorded during matches and shared league spaces is not possible; however, I may request exclusion from promotional materials by submitting a written notice prior to the event.
In the event of bad weather or unforeseen circumstances, The Dink Society reserves the right to reschedule events. Refunds will not be issued for rescheduled events. Dues are non-refundable once the Circuit is underway. Full refunds are available up to 7 days before the start date; 50% refunds up to 48 hours before. After that, refunds are at the organizers' sole discretion.
